Teenage living

Hollies bedroom was by far the worst room in our house. It was drab, cold and it had lost its way. She had been banging on about a new room for months and it was something we were putting off in fear of loosing our life’s in there. The problem with teenagers is that one minute their into One Direction the next minute they are wanting to live as a hippy,  you need a blank canvas so it’s possible to change when they’re  having an interior meltdown without being boring or having to spend their university savings on doing it up. It needs to be light for homework ( yeah right), it needs to be as spacious as possible for all those screaming headache inducing sleepovers and it needs to have their personality written all over it. He knew I didn’t want fancy …at the time I was working at the vets and we had hypothetical talks about stuff like that, I had my hands in …

It’s my buzz, my thing I feel free and In this day and age with the stresses of real life everyone needs to let go and this is my let go. So off we go to our first festival of the year, we have normally been to Glastonbury by this point but because of having Oscar we missed it this year. Now Hollies been spoiled when it comes to festivals as her first one was Glastonbury and that is a magical place that I will write about at another stage. But Reading is on our doorstep quite literally down the road, so we decided to just do the Friday day. Getting ready for a day in the fields is always a full on process of curly hair, face paint, feathers and anything sparkly I can stick to me – I love it !!! Hollie has inherited …
